Riccardo Tisci è l'attuale direttore creativo della maison Givenchy. E' nato a Cermenate nel 1974, ma si è formato presso il Central Saint Martins College a Londra.
Ha lavorato per Puma e Coccapani, prima di lanciare nel 2004 la propria collezione che porta il suo nome. Successivamente viene contattato da Givenchy che lo mette a capo dell'haute couture, pret-à-porter e accessori.
Nel 2008 disegna i costumi di scena del "Sticky and Sweet Tour" di Madonna risquotendo enorme successo, mentre due anni dopo seleziona Lea T, primo modello transgender, per sfilare a fianco dell'amica e musa ispiratrice Maria Carla Boscono.
Il suo stile è stato fortmente influenzato dalla religione e dalla mitologia (tipica della sua città natale) e coniuga il moderno con romanticismo, sensualità e un pizzico di malinconia dark.
Riccardo Tisci is the creative director of French maison Givenchy. He was born in Taranto in 1974, but he gratuated from London's Central Saint Martins College.
Tisci worked for Puma and Coccapani before launching his own collection in 2004. Shortly after, he was appointed by Givenchy as the creative director for haute couture, pret-à-porter and accessories.
In 2008, he designed the costumes for Madonna's "Sticky and Sweet Tour", and, two years later, he has included Lea T., a transgender model, for his collection. He is also a friend of the model Maria Carla Boscono.
His style is influenced by religion and mythology and mix space-age minimalism with romance and Gothic touches.
Ho notato che questo mio cappotto ha riscosso molto successo in uno dei precedenti outfit ("Commando"), perciò ve lo ripropongo in un'altra chiave: vestito lungo grigio, anfibi borchiati, capello e occhiali.
